• M.A. /M. Sc in Computational Finance (2 years Course)
• M.A. /M.Sc. in Mathematics with Data Science (2 years)

Intake Capacity

• The maximum number of students to be admitted into the program is 30 which include the number of students admitted under the reserved categories as prescribed by the Govt. of Odisha and in vague at the time of admission. 

Eligibility Criteria for Institute of Mathematics and Applications (IMA) Entrance Test 2019

For B.Sc. Course

• Candidate must have passed/appeared Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent from any stream with Mathematics as a subject. 

For M.A./M.Sc. Course

• Candidate must have passed/appeared Bachelors Degree with Mathematics/Statistics as a core subject. 

M.A. /M.Sc. in Mathematics with Data Science

• A candidate seeking admission to this course should have passed Bachelor degree with Mathematics / Statistics as honours subject 

Selection Procedure for IMA Entrance Test 2019

• Selection of candidates for admission into both B.Sc. and M.Sc. Courses shall be made on the basis of the entrance test. The entrance test will be of two hour's duration
• Previous years question are available in the institute website for reference
• Eligibility candidates can appear in the entrance test. Students appearing at the qualifying exam can also appear in the entrance test
• However, if selected and admitted to the course, they have to submit the results of the qualifying exam at the time of admission 

Institute of Mathematics and Applications (IMA) Entrance Test 2019 Application Procedure

For UG & PG Courses

• IMA Candidates to fill the application form in official website www.iomaorissa.ac.in
• Draft should be made in favour of Director, IMA, Bhubaneswar payable at Bhubaneswar 

Online

• The application can be filled in online mode following details of instructions given in the Institute's website www.iomaorissa.ac.in/admission.php. The filled in application along with enclosures (detailed below) should be up loaded by June 17, 2019, 12:00, midnight. 

Offline

• Application form and information Brochure can be collected from Institute's counter from 11:00 A.M to 4:30 P.M on working days on payment of application fee (see below) in the shape of DD of a nationalized bank payable to Director, IMA, Bhubaneswar at Bhubaneswar
• The form may also be downloaded from the Institute's website www.iomaorissa.ac.in/admission.php. The filled in application along with enclosures detailed below should be sent to the Director, Institute of Mathematics and Applications, Andharua, Bhubaneswar-751029 by speed post or in person so as to reach the Institute on or before June 17, 2019, 5:00 P.M. 

Application Fees for Both the Courses

• Online Application Fee Rs.700/- for General Category candidates and Rs.400/- for SC/ST Candidates
• Paper copy application on hand delivery, from office counter of IMA Rs.800/- for general category candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates
• Online Application - Rs.800/- (Rupees eight hundred only) for general category candidates and Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for SC/ST candidates
• Paper copy application on hand delivery, from office counter of IMA: Rs.900/- (Rupees nine hundred only) for general category candidates and Rs.600/- (Rupees six hundred only) for SC/ST candidates
• The filled in application form (Institution Copy) along with all other relevant documents should be sent to "The Director, Institute of Mathematics and Applications, Andharua, Bhubaneswar-751029" by speed post/in person so as to reach the institute on or before June 17, 2019 (Wednesday)
